TAME AS BROKEN
i.
Chained to the wall of the universe. Waiting for civilization
to come to civilization. This rage of mortality.
This turbulence of want.
This howl of meat.
Burning meat. Robot blood.
Carnival atmosphere.
This last glass of wine.
ii.
Flip a switch for daylight
and listen to the machinery groan.
The rhythm is off.
Loud and clear.
iii.
The very wheat does tremble.
