Thanks for sharing this.. Looks very interesting.

I have two erasures here– http://www.ditchpoetry.com/adityabahl.htm

I seemed to have been hooked to the idea bt now cannot seem to re-create anything.

    • I like “erasure: Charles Olson, The House” , beginning as you do, with that inimitable comma of yours. You are quite brave to create erasure with a poet whose poems are at least as large as he was, which introduces a sense of erasure being a thief . . . provocative, Aditya, congratulations. Thanks for this link to your poems and the intro to “ditch,” which is new to me. – Donna

    — that being a was (no longer is, after you’ve pointed out) an inverted comma (like a ‘coz or a ’cause standing in for because (?) or .. ) but then hanging in that white space as that .. what is the head and what is the tail.. Thanks..
is minimalism about getting rid of the words?

    • Aditya, hi. An apostrophe, aha! Since this character stands in for missing letters or numerals, it is the epitome for the minimal, perhaps? For me, minimalism begins from the nothing that is, the darkness, the negative space, and accretes from there, rather than a subtractive process as you suggest. What do you think? –Donna
