an up-too-late moon
the blackbird whispers its song
as I stumble home

  1. Yes, when a bit younger, and occasionally not getting back home until the wee small hours, as day starts to edge its way back in from the night, there’s been many a moon that has seemed to be up past its bedtime.

Sometimes I still have a Cheshire Cat’s grin, sometimes a splitting head, but the moon just looked calm, but a bit naughty being up so early. 🙂
