    • “Give Everybody Everything” yeah, but it presumes there is still ownership, that is, some one or thing that “gives”

        I’m always grateful for the arts but don’t see them as public goods or public necessities, and yes the pipedreams of full luxury communism are a world better left behind, where are the plan b’s for what we do when for all our grand scheming we end up with more of the same?

      • Check out poet Stephen Collis, particularly his poetry book, “The Commons” ; also, Brit poets, Nat Raha and William Rowe. Yes, I do think the arts belong to the people, poetry particularly — it has no “market value” which is its survival and strength.

        will do thanks, yes extra-market value is good also perhaps good to have a career in addition to the writing, a foot in both worlds if you will like William Carlos Williams and all.
