For sun and moon and radio
farmers pay dearly;
their natural resource: turn
the world off early.

Lorine Niedecker (1903-1970) was an American poet often identified with the Objectivists. She was born in a remote part of Wisconsin on  the Black Hawk Island of the turbulent Rock River near Fort Atkinson . . . .
