“Poets in the Family: Mother and Son” — Paula Adams Nelson and Jacob Nelson / Wintonbury Poetry Series, Bloomfield CT

Prosser Public Library presents

“Poets in the Family: Mother and Son”

 Paula Adams Nelson and Jacob Nelson

Come and appreciate the poetic gifts shared by one family.  Paula is author of Some Promises, We Cannot Keep.  She recently won the Marion Doyle Poetry Award from the National League of American Pen Women competition.  Last April, she read her winning poem at the Library of Congress in Washington, D. C.  Her son, Jacob Nelson, teaches high school English and has published work in many journals, including the California Quarterly.

 An open mic will follow the featured poets.
