For LGBTQI+ ourstories month we do not look to those who are put on the pedestals. But we look to the people who are in the streets of amerikkka fighting for the new day. We look to the Black Transgender Women who are our leaders. We look to those who are standing against police murdering of Black women and men. We look to those who are fighting this present administration. We look to those who are standing and fighting for the new day and the new world.

Our story makers of today. We celebrate.

Run the Jewels’ Killer Mike Delivers an Emotional Plea

If you haven’t had a chance to watch this, it’s really worth your time. Rapper and activist Michael Render, aka Killer Mike of Run the Jewels, spoke at a press conference in Atlanta about the protests in the wake of George Floyd’s murder, the history of policing in the city, and his outrage, delivering a plea for the city’s residents to not “burn your own house down for anger with an enemy”.
