A Handbook of Disappointed Fate by Anne Boyer (Ugly Duckling Presse), includes her essay, “No”. This, her second book of essays I have read, is the reason I can write in ever changing forms, drawing from her reservoir of unsurpassable poetry and essays that change one’s very being.

Other titles from this list I wholeheartedly intend to read in the coming year —
