Wendy O. Williams and I were friends in the early 1990s, having met through a shared passion for wildlife and alternative paths to health. She managed the vitamin-mineral-herbal-tonic supplements section of an organic grocery store and was a licensed wild bird rehabilitator, active in speaking engagements throughout the country to educate for the necessity of professionalizing wildlife rehabilitation through licensing and other measures. She was especially devoted to the wild birds and helping shoppers who were in a quandary about vitamin supplementation and seeking alternative ways of living, food gathering and cooking. Wendy had incredible energy, knowledge, and sensitivity. She could sniff out inauthenticity in a person in a minute. And when we weren’t talking, we were laughing. I was glad to see a Fb friend post this vid today, so I thought to share it here as well. I miss her. ~ yours truly, df
